One main paved road with several of interlaced singletrack. Not a lot of difficult, but great for a couple of laps.
If you are coming in from Dallas on hwy 114 or 635. If you are on 635 west, come out to 121,take 121 to 114 west and exit at William D Tate Ave and turn right. If you are coming in on hwy 121 from Fort Worth you still exit William D Tate Ave. If coming in on 114 from Roanoke you still exit at William D Tate and turn left. Go up William D Tate to Northwest hwy (Hwy 26)and turn left, go to the next red light, which is Dove Road (there is a PDQ on the corner), and turn right. Go up Dove Rd and it turns into Dove Loop at the next red light. Keep heading north +- 1 mile on your left you will see a sign that says McPherson Sough and turn left, come down till you see restrooms on your right and that is the trailhead and where to park.
